<p>These Forgefix Threaded rods are bright Zinc Plated for increased corrosion resistance, and provide a cost effective fastening solution for many varied applications. They can be used with many other products including Drop In Anchors and Masonry Anchor Shields.</p> <p>Conform to DIN 975 standards.</p> <p>APPLICATION<br />Used widely in the soft furnishing trades where strong timber connection is required. Also extensively used in Playground and Climbing Wall manufacturing.<br />Ideal for use in chemical fixing applications where non standard sizes are required.</p> <p>Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the substrate’s surface integrity as it is formed.
